"Acid Life" is true to its name with a fluid and distinctive style. It manages to become a melting pot of crazy blips, beat-up synths, and overstretched vocoders. Nacho Lovers say that they're influenced by the earlier material that came out of Chicago and Detroit; those sounds have finally surfaced in "Acid Life".
These mangy synths will bite at your heels consistently throughout the entire track. A Surkin remix of this track will be released on the Scion CD Vol. 22; Fool's Gold Remixed. For now - here is the original.
Fool's Gold Records co-founder (along with A-Trak) is Nick Catchdubs, here is a new mix he did for XLR8R Magazine.
