Divine Intervention
Finally, after god knows how many days, Xavier & Gaspard have given their fans "Planisphère", by way of Myspace. Letting loose a celestial monolith of electric harmonies; filled with their new kicking & slashing drums, a grand harpsichord and piano chords the weight of the fairy king. Every time you think the song gets repetitive or boring (it could happen; it is almost 18minutes) vocals or a guitar kicks in, or something else that is equally amazing happens.
The monolith was first released for the Dior Homme Spring & Summer fashion show, and was playing on the Dior Homme opening web page. But until now, the much talked about guitar solo by Hervé Pouliquen has been kept reasonably secret.

Deciding to name it Planisphère was an interesting move, I assume they want to continue on with the whole christianity and now astrology theme, and interesting choice when you look at their conflicting histories. Hervé's guitar just seems to stop at 14minutes 40seconds; be shocked for what you hear...
This is the full 17minutes 40seconds. Relish it - for it is too immense for hating upon. If Waters of Nazareth was once the Justice anthem. Planisphere has completely crushed it up against the wall of vocoding and distortion and has completely, and utterly, arrived.
