Kid 17 is nothing new, but if you haven't heard of it you should definitely try it out: play certain Radiohead songs from two sources (ie iTunes and WMP) at the same time with a 17 second gap, and when they overlap they sound pretty crazy.

(The gap varies slightly on some of them, a second or half second longer/shorter, you might have to experiment a little bit to get them in sync)
From In Rainbows, try the 17 second gap on 15 Step and Videotape.
Also, a video for House of Cards has just been released, apparently it was made without cameras or lights, only lasers.
